Estancia Harberton

Harberton, the first ranch established on the island of Tierra del Fuego, is 85 km from the Argentine city of Ushuaia by road, and can also be reached from the Beagle Channel.

Founded in 1886 by the Rev. Thomas Bridges, it was declared a National Historical Monument in 1999.

You can tour the main house in the course of a guided tour and see the Acatushún Museum of marine birds and mammals.

There is also the option of having lunch or tea in the restaurant, and staying in the guest house.
