| The El Pangue Inn and Cabin Court is located
on the northern bank of Lake Risopatrón in the middle of Chile’s northern Patagonian
rain forest. Adjacent to
Queulat National Park in a setting of lakes, rivers and mountains, this complex of
comfortable, cozy native wood cabins offers additional services which add even more class
to the place. Guests are delighted by the international-level cuisine of its club house,
the living room with fireplace, the game room, and the view of Lake Risopatrón from their
terraces.
The complex offers fishing programs
and excursions such as horseback rides or boating, as well as use of a heated pool, sauna
and jacuzzi. |

| Catch-and-release
fly-fishing and trolling programs in Lake Risopatrón and the river of the same name last
seven days (six nights), and include in/out transfers from the airports of Chaitén or
Balmaceda in Chile or Esquel in Argentina; room and full board including drinks and wine,
and a fishing permit. There are interesting photo safaris;
excursions in boats, canoes or water bikes on the lake; mountain bikes, and guided
horseback rides in the area around the complex.
Arrayanes
Beach:
This lovely lake beach has fine sand, practically no gradient, and a backdrop of ancient
myrtles. Excursions include barbecues and visits to volcanic caves.
Hikes:
Trails are flanked by dense vetgetation. Photo safaris reveal native birds such as the
chucao tapaculo, huet-huet, Chilean flicker, kingfisher, red-headed woodpecker,
black-necked swan and wild ducks, and a native flora of ferns, mosses and enormous old
trees. |
